Peaking in high school

Issue #004

G-morning gang ๐Ÿ’ฎ

Here's your daily dose of Andrew's Apples, a small white bag of four fresh *fruits* to nourish your soul and make you smile. Let's go picking.

  1. ๐Ÿ† Opt for organic. Esp. with coffee and strawberries, two heavily sprayed crops. Think: canisters of toxic green ooze from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Fuggedaboutit! Master Splinter, an adult-sized rat and father to the turtles, looked like hell because his steady diet of wet garbage from the streets of New York was not USDA Organic. Ya do what you can... long live the rat!

  2. ๐Ÿ’Š Grandpa, did you take your pills today? All folks, especially overweight ones, should be taking a *good* daily multivitamin. The food in this country has become so devoid of bioavailable nutrients (see #1) and our doctors are so out to lunch, that virtually everyone needs some nutritional "insurance". Lmk if you need recommendations. A fistful of Prozac does not count.

  3. ๐ŸŒณ Exercise outside. As C19 has normalized (even encouraged!) anti-social behavior for two years straight, stepping outside is an antidote to such poison. Sun on your skin promotes immune support and it fights SAD (seasonal affective disorder). Like it or not, believe it or not, mental health is woven into our current zeitgeist (in lockstep w climate change and social justice) - and the great outdoors oftentimes beat a shrink.

  4. ๐Ÿˆ Peaking in high school: Jack Nicholson was never the same after The Shining and nor was De Niro after Raging Bull. Both made in 1980, an inflection year for American film. Jack went on to make bile B-movies like The Bucket List (lord help us). The point is: your best years are ahead of you if you continually do good work. Most will not, and they'll evolve into freaks with big heads, small limbs, and overdeveloped gaming thumbs.

How do you like them Apples? Any bad ones? Suggestions? If you ever need anything, bang my line.
